For more than four decades, Gulf Coast Community Services Association (GCCSA) has been on the front lines of the battlefield to reduce poverty and build economic independence in Harris County. But GCCSA knows we can’t accomplish our mission without your support.


The mission to end poverty has been a national objective since the Lyndon Baines Johnson administration—our nation’s growth depends on it. Consequently, we must work hard; we must work together and we must work unceasingly to build a better tomorrow.


Although Community Action Agency’s (CAA) were created to

foster this comprehensive approach to the problem, it will take the entire village to solve it. In jest, I often say, “It takes a village to be the CEO of the largest CAA in the state of Texas,” but there is a great deal of truth that resonates in that statement.
